Our General Duty trailers are at home in almost any environment, with virtually any type of load, from building materials to expedition equipment. Tough adaptable and easy to maintain, the general purpose trailers are designed to withstand the daily rigour of the construction industry and other arduous conditions.
The trailers are built around a welded steel, galvanized chassis with fixed front and side panels. These panels are constructed from formed galvanized steel and are supported by galvanized steel channel sections.
The General Duty range is offered in width options from 4' to 6' (internal width), and length options from 6' to 12'. All models are fitted with the Ifor Williams beam axles and leaf sprung suspension and either a tailboard or rear ramp with assistor. Our general purpose trailers are available with a number of axle options and a maximum gross weight ranging from 1400kg to 3500kg.
The larger GD106 and GD126 trailers have a rigid rectangular steel framework, integral with the chassis, onto which the galvanized panels are fitted. This gives the versatility of a genereal duty trailer, combined with the capability of carrying plant and equipment such as skid steers and rollers.

A regular on building sites all over the UK and Europe, an Ifor Williams tipping trailer is the builder's perfect partner.
There are three models in the tipper range, each designed to offer a specific blend of load capacity and flexibility, and all buily with your safety in mind.
The TT85, the smallest of the range, has a maximum gross weight of 2700kg with the option of a manual or electric hydraulic pump (and self contained 12v battery). With headboard, ladder rack, dropsides and swing tailboard fitted as standard, the TT85 is ready to go straight to work.
The two larger models, the TT105 and TT126, are electrically operated tippers with a self-contained 12v battery. Both have a maximum gross weight of 3500kg and offer all the usual benefits of a tipper trailer, coupled with the superb flexibility of the flatbed range. With the addition of loading skids and rear propstands, the larger tipping trailers can also be used to carry plant and machinery.
The tipper range is offered with an aluminium platform covering (optional on the TT85) and optional recessed lashing rings. Winches and meshside extensions are also available.

The new body design allows the machine operator to safely step down from the cab. GX106 Trailers are offered with hinged adjustable skids or a full-width loading ramp. Sizes range from the smallest GX84 up to the largest GX126.
GP Series
The GP series trailers, widely regarded as the toughest plant trailers in the industry, have an open rectangular steel framework, integral with the chassis. Maximum gross weight of the range is 3500kg. Models range from the smallest GP106 to the largest GP146. GP trailers can be ordered with either low sides or high sides. Click on the option above for further details.
GH Series
The GH94 is the latest addition to our plant trailer range. With a 9’ x 4’ platform, the GH94 is of welded construction and is fitted with a 16° ramp. Offering a generous payload of 2210kg, with a maximum gross weight of 2700kg and an unladen weight of only 490kg, the GH94 is ideal for customers with a restricted towing capacity.

Built to last...
Designed and built for professional use, you can depend on these flatbed trailers to do the job week in week out, reliably and safely. High strength and durability are essential requirements for this type of product and have always been the mainstay of our design policy. We recognize that it's tough out there!
The chassis on our low loading trailers are hot-dip galvanized in our on-site plant, as are all the frames and brackets for the optional equipment, and the platform is 18mm high density plywood with a tough phenolic resin coating on both sides. The optional panels are formed from pre-galvanized steel sheet with a generous 2mm thickness.
Adaptability
The flatbed trailers are unrivalled not only for strength and durability but also for their adaptability. In the basic form they are supplied with all the fittings to allow the later addition of optional extras - hinge tubes and sockets to accept the dropside kit (excluding Beaver Tail series), stowage rails for the loading skids and spigots for the prop stands. Other options include mesh-panelled side extensions, aluminium treadplate platform covering and winches.
The Ifor Williams beam axle system
Like all Ifor Williams commercial trailers, the flatbed trailer range has the company's unique beam axles with heavy duty leaf springs. Brilliantly simple in concept, the design has undergone considerable development over the years to give you arguably the most dependable trailer axle system in existence. The unitized wheel bearings are sealed for life and require no maintenance or adjustment, cutting down on the already low servicing times.
No compromise has been made on wheel equipment either, top quality radial tyres being used throughout the low loader trailer range. The 185/60R12C on the LM and 145R10C 8PR on the LT may look like car tyres, but looks can be deceptive. In fact, they have been specifically developed for trailer use. Combining such small dimensions with such high carrying capacities is an amazing achievement and is a further contribution to safety, lowering the centre of gravity and widening the track to improve stability.
Excellent value for money
In today's difficult commercial climate, purchasing decisions cannot be taken lightly. You can be assured, however, that you will not find a better value low loader trailer anywhere. It is our policy to ensure that this will always be the case.

TRAILER AID
No need for a trailer jack with 'Trailer-Aid'. The unique drive-on design of this handy device means you do not need to unload your trailer before changing a flat tyre, whether it's a horse, boat, farm equipment or even camping gear. Suitable for use on all 4 wheel, double axle trailers weighing up to 15,000 lb (6,750 kg), you simply pull or back the good tyre onto the Trailer Aid in order to raise the flat tyre for changing.
Even easier to use than electric trailer jacks: -
a) Drive your good tyre onto the 'Trailer Aid'
b) Remove your flat tyre and fit the spare tyre
c) Drive off the TrailerAid
Quick * Safe * Strong * Durable * Rot Proof
Designed with safety in mind, the TrailerAid is made from a super-strong polymer that is extremely tough and yet incredibly lightweight. Traction treads on the bottom prevent slipping on hard surfaces but there are no sharp edges on which to cut yourself. The cross mesh bottom gives extra strength and is useful on grass. Because of its relatively small size it can be stored easily and it is completely water and rust proof. The traileraid can also be used as a wedge or chock when the trailer is stationary or as a trailer tongue stand.
